Unilay Stranding

Stranded conductor composed of a centre wire that is surrounded by one or more layers of helically laid wires that have the same direction of lay and the same lay length each successive layer.

Conventional Concentric Stranding

Stranded conductor composed of a centre wire that is surrounded by one or more layers of helically laid wires that reverse the direction of lay and increase the lay length for each successive layer

Unidirectional Concentric Stranding

Stranded conductor composed of a centre wire that is surrounded by one or more layers of helically laid wires that have the same direction of lay and an increase lay length for each successive layer.

Bunching

Stranded conductor composed of any number of wires of the same diameter that are twisted together.
